How I continued my research and my life after finishing my SoMoPro Project? You are right I am still in Brno! I don't know if Brno will be my final destination but for the moment looks like so. The SoMoPro grant gave me the opportunity to create a European database of aquatic and wetland vegetation plots, to cooperate with many European scientists and publish important methodological improvements for vegetation studies at continental scale. During the SoMoPro and after (funded by other grants) I published a complete classification of European wetland vegetation and I am currently working on aquatic vegetation. During the past years I also took part in the creation of a the European Red list of Habitats as leader of the wetland vegetation working group. These are very important works because they are the bases on which European environmental policies will be constructed in the future. During the last 8 years I did not just work in Brno, I also had the opportunity to construct my family.
